The buildings are clad in vertical timber paneling with shingle covered walls and roofs, granite clad foundations, and exposed log walls, materials and architectural expressions that blend naturally with the surrounding mountain landscape. The work has been carried out by some of the region’s most skilled craftsmen who, together with the owner and with deep knowledge of traditional building techniques, have sought to preserve as much of the original character as possible, while ensuring that the newly constructed elements have been created with great respect for the estate’s history.

Skiing in the area includes exceptional ski touring on the surrounding peaks, along with convenient access to alpine skiing in both Åre and Storlien. The property provides access to both hunting and fishing, as well as immediate proximity to backcountry touring and alpine experiences. During the summer months, cloudberry marshes, mountain meadows, and reindeer grazing lands stretch out around the estate. The holding also includes several charming mountain cabins, situated high up in the mountains in remote, roadless terrain.
