Description de la propriété
Welcome to Historic Royal Island, located on Honey Harbour, Georgian Bay. A rare opportunity to acquire an entire 17.75 acre island with approximately 5000 feet of multi-exposure shoreline situated in the heart of one of Ontario’s legendary cottage regions. Originally the location of the luxurious Royal Island Hotel, this private island has been severed into seven 2.5 acre lots and is being sold as one land parcel. Build your own private family compound or pursue the development of it’s 7 separately deeded lots. While you build your dream project(s), enjoy shelter or overnight accommodation at the existing 1.5 storey 800 sq ft, 1 ½ story legacy cottage with it’s airy vaulted ceilings, 2 bedrooms & 4 piece bath, living room, kitchen, and woodstove. At the end of a hard day, enjoy a cold beverage on the lakeside deck overlooking the beautifully natural shoreline and long lake views of nearby Beausoleil Island. A convenient private dock is also installed to moor your boats and allow for leisurely downtime basking in the sunshine. Known for its rugged natural landscapes and windswept pines, this historic Georgian Bay area offers an unparalleled opportunity to live on one of the world’s largest bodies of freshwater.

The landscape was often featured in many Group of Seven paintings and with its many sandy beaches and clear blue waters, it’s easy to see why.
