A gracious brick colonial with 5,300+ square feet of living space, the house, filled with gorgeous light and large scaled rooms, was soon filled with a steady stream of friends. Once they reconstructed a grand stairway and renovated bathrooms and the kitchen, it worked perfectly for them all. By upgrading to high efficiency heating and cooling, replacing and refurbishing windows, insulating throughout, restoring the slate roof and repointing the brick exterior, they got the tight and efficient home they desired.
