Description de la propriété
“Little Wolf” – A Global Icon in the Heart of the Great Bear Rainforest
Welcome to Little Wolf, a once-in-a-lifetime sanctuary nestled on 130 acres of secluded riverfront in British Columbia’s legendary Great Bear Rainforest, within the pristine Sacred Headwaters. Set on a private peninsula along the world-famous Skeena River, this extraordinary estate is surrounded by glacial creeks, untouched wilderness, and some of the purest air and water on earth.
Recognized worldwide with multiple National and International awards and featured on National Geographic, Discovery Channel, History Channel, Bloomberg, and Timber Kings in over 150 countries, Little Wolf is more than a property; it’s a world-class destination.
At the heart of the estate stands a magnificent timber castle, the first natural red and yellow cedar wood castle on earth, a masterpiece of artistry and craftsmanship spanning nearly 9,000 square feet. With 8 bedrooms, 10 baths, hand-carved details, Brazilian Blue Azul granite, marble, high-end antique furnishings, a Burgundy fireplace from the 11th century, and world-class finishes throughout, this is one of the most unique wilderness residences on the planet.
Legendary Fishing Paradise
Little Wolf sits in the heart of the world’s finest salmon and steelhead country. The Skeena River and its surrounding systems, the Kispiox, Bulkley, Morice, Babine, Copper, Sustut, Bell Irving, Kalum, and Kitimat Rivers, are legendary among anglers, attracting sport fishers from across the globe. From world-record trophy steelhead and salmon to saltwater fishing for Chinook, Coho, halibut, ling cod, and more in nearby Prince Rupert and Kitimat, this is one of the premier fishing destinations on earth.
Year-Round Adventure Playground
Beyond fishing, Little Wolf offers unmatched access to heli-skiing, winter sports, and wilderness adventure all from your doorstep. Rare RC commercial zoning on 10 acres and 120 acres of R-10 also opens endless opportunities: luxury resort, exclusive retreat, corporate compound, boutique hotel, bottled water venture, or farm use.
Accessibility Meets Exclusivity
Despite its remote setting, Little Wolf is easily reached: just a 1-hour 20-minute flight from Vancouver International Airport to Terrace, followed by a 20-minute scenic drive along the world-renowned Yellowhead Highway. One of the dream routes of the world.

Architectural Design:
“Little Wolf” is built from giant Western Red Cedar logs which show character and beauty. Every tree is a rare jewel of the forest and has been carefully harvested and selected. The design of Little Wolf Resort combines luxurious elegance and pure natural beauty. The marvelous entrance features three giant twisted Red Cedar trees. The trees were twisting, so that they were more stable against the wind. The fourth big tree of the entrance grew perfectly straight. It is called “The Big Carrot”. The big straight tree is considered to be the most valued kind of tree in the wood industry. Combining the three twisted trees with the big straight tree gave us the idea to call the combination “The Twisted Carrot Entrance”. Furthermore, the entrance features a twisted arch blending into the twisted look of the main supporting logs, holding a very special and unique, one-of-a-kind, mighty giant Red Cedar burl that is over 1000 years old. The mighty, naturally grown and over 1000-year-old giant Red Cedar burl is one of the principal design elements of “Little Wolf”. Burls are very rare to find. Specifically giant Red Cedar burls can grow to immense sizes. Burls can grow new trees, filled with small knots from dormant buds. The figured, dense and resistant wood-grain of these burls is highly prized for its beauty and rarity! Ornamental Yellow Cedar burls in the dormer gables, as well as a giant Red Cedar log above the balcony with multiple smaller burls are blending into the compilation. Two giant and very characteristic multi-coloured Red Cedar pillars in the entrance hall of “Little Wolf” are connecting the entrance hall with the big living room and are also supporting the upper living section. There one was combining dark Cedar trees in the upper loft with the two big giant bright Cedar pillars in the entrance hall as a huge bottom end, making it look as one big tree with multiple colourful variations of the wood being used in this compilation. The living room features a unique hanging truss with a hanging flared tree. Giant flared ends in the wall system of the living room are framing in the impressive medieval Burgund
