Ken is a member of several real estate boards including the Toronto Regional Real Estate Board (TRREB), Oakville Milton District Real Estate Board (OMDREB), Guelph District Association of Realtors (GDAR), Waterloo Region Association of Realtors (WRAR), Niagara Association of Realtors (NAR), London and St. Thomas Association of Realtors (LSTAR), and the Windsor-Essex County Association of Realtors (WECAR). He is currently the President Elect and Chair of the Managing Brokers Council with the Oakville Milton District Real Estate Board (OMDREB) and is a member of the Toronto Regional Real Estate Board Government Relations Committee including the Central Toronto and Climate Risk sub-committees. Ken was also a recipient of the Ontario Real Estate Association Young Professional Network Leadership Award in 2024.
Before joining Sotheby's International Realty Canada as a Managing Broker, Ken was a Broker at Johnston & Daniel/Royal LePage working in central Toronto with his business partner, Lina Risi. Consistently a top-producing team, they were recipients of numerous awards, while initiating and participating in educational and coaching initiatives in the firm. Prior to his real estate career, Ken was the Special Teams Coordinator, International Recruiting Coordinator, and Academic Support Coordinator with the University of Toronto Varsity Blues Football Team and an instructor within the Faculty of Kinesiology. Originally from Lethbridge, Alberta, Ken has been a lifelong multi-sport athlete who attended the University of Toronto on an athletic scholarship with the Varsity Blues Football Team. Following his graduation from the University of Toronto, he played football professionally in Europe for two years with the Montabaur Fighting Farmers in the German Football League,
Ken holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto - University of Trinity College and is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of the University of Ottawa with a Bachelor of Education. He is an Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) certified teacher and is also involved in several charities including the Varsity Blues Football Alumni Network and Mentorship Program, Movember, Sunnybrook Foundation, Jack.org, HART, CAMH, Ronald McDonald House Charities, and Furniture Bank.
