Ember Shay

I have thoroughly enjoyed acquiring a diverse skill set in varying roles spanning over 10 years, combining Real Estate Brokerage Management with experience in construction of new development, and luxury custom built homes.

Having lived from the southern border to the central Okanagan, so I call the whole Valley home. In early 2008, I began my adventures in Real Estate Development supervising deficiencies for a private join venture development in West Kelowna. Overseeing hundreds of turn overs to owners of high-end, lakeside resort condominiums, then working on several other developments as liaison between owners and contractors. Tandemly, I assisted in the acquisition and development of property for private investment holdings for residential and luxury home builds.

Drawing upon my past education in psychology in negotiation and communications, my experience in understanding clients needs and stakeholder motivation results in mutual beneficial resolutions with minimal resource expenditures.

My areas of service to the community include the BoD as treasurer of my past professional association (CPCA), and experience for the Not-For-Profit industry, supporting vulnerable populations, as well as individual counselling in private practice as a registered Counsellor and Co-founder of Interior Counselling Group.
