With regard to the recent estate sale of my mother’s Mill Bay property, Brian Danyliw’s expertise, integrity and professionalism were evident at every step of the process, from interviewing prospective Realtors to the closing of the sale. Brian was prompt to respond to every query, proactive in suggesting areas of concern I hadn’t considered, and forthright in pursuing the final negotiations without being aggressive. At no point did I feel that I wasn’t fully informed or in control of the process, which is a real compliment to Brian’s integrity as he was representing both purchaser and seller in the transaction.

He presented the various scenarios from a quick sale at a lower price or a longer waiting period for a possibly higher price, he gave me the clear advantages and disadvantages of either position, and he was careful to explain the specific implications of whatever negotiating position I chose to adopt. In terms of the specific details of the property, Brian was by far the best prepared of the Realtors I met, and clearly he was the best able to visualize and articulate the potential of a property that was not easy to market. True to his word, he had a client who was eager to view the property, and Brian expedited the sale in a very timely manner that met the needs of both the purchaser and myself.

When I decided to sell my home, the Cowichan Valley market was very soft and just about non-existent in my listing range. Brian presented a strong Marketing Plan making good use of frequent print ads and additional broad exposure through numerous websites. Brian is an accomplished photographer and provided professional grade photos to accompany the mls listing. I was kept up to date with weekly website reports, service reports and verbal updates. Brian continued to devote time and energy over a relatively long listing period resulting in an offer being presented while I was traveling in Europe. After multiple years and numerous homes sold, and finding myself constantly frustrated with an abundance of other "real estate professionals", a close friend of mine finally recommended Brian Danyliw and his team.
