We chose Julia after a Google search of realtors in Collingwood and she was the first to respond to our request for assistance in finding a property. Julia immediately identified our requirements and was very quick to identify suitable properties and to maintain regular contact with us in the UK prior to our Xmas visit to Collingwood for viewings.
The inspection visit was very successful mainly because Julia had been able to organize viewings of potential properties in a timely and efficient manner. We were able to purchase a suitable property and she was excellent in explaining the process and supporting us through the different stages of the purchase. As the purchase was progressing, Julia kept us updated and arranged for an inspection of the property by a close family member immediately prior to completion.
This was our 1st purchase of a property in Canada and we were surprised at the ease of the process which is a testament to Julia,s commitment and empathy. We would have no hesitation in using Julia again and will refer Julia to others who need realtor services
My partner and I were looking for a condo in the Collingwood area to use as our "cottage". We were paired with Julia and I'm so happy we were. Julia met all of our needs. We told her what we had in mind, how much we wanted to spend and she spent countless hours helping us find just the right place for us. From the first few places we looked at, Julia knew right away what our tastes were, and when we compared notes after seeing a condo, they were always very similar. Since we are from out of town, she would often look at places for us and let us know whether or not she felt we should make the trip to Collingwood to see them. What a time saver! Even though we weren't spending millions of dollars, Julia made us feel like we were. She treated us as if we were her only priority, was always quick with answers to our questions, and always available to help us. I know our condo shopping wouldn't have gone nearly as well if it weren't for her.
Julia is honest, friendly, hardworking and knows the Collingwood and surrounding area well. She helped us find different contractors for work we wanted done, has given us information on fun places to take our 4 year old child, and has been there for us anytime we have needed her. I chose Julia to help us find a condo in Collingwood because she was available. We called her out of the blue one Sunday afternoon and she immediately responded and facilitated the showing of a condo. We found her ability and commitment to being available at all hours and on short notice extremely helpful as my husband and I were only in Canada for a couple weeks and wanted to have a sense of what was available in the Collingwood area. Over the next few months Julia kept us informed of new listings even though we were out of the country and when we finally decided on a unit, she referred us to a lawyer and helped walk us through the purchase transaction. Julia was not pushy or impatient with us in any way, and when we did decide to buy, she moved quickly and with good advice to help us make the deal that we felt would work for us. My Husband Jim and I recently had the pleasure of finding Julia as our real estate agent in the Collingwood Area. We were not familiar with anyone in the Area and sent emails out to several agents. Julia was one of the first agents to promptly respond to our request. We were on holidays and had one day to meet with her to see a few properties before leaving. Julia has always provided excellent service in a friendly , empathetic manner. Since we bought our condo in 2015, Julia has acted as our agent for an annual rental . As our first experience of renting our condo, Julia was able to help us with the paperwork, liason with the rentees , inventory , and opening and closing of the rental period. All of these activities were done in Julia's usual friendly and efficient way. We will certainly be using Julia again when we decide to upgrade!
