Halina Jakowenko

Halina balances her time with family and friends between downtown Toronto and the Niagara
region. Her career in sales spans from her start in the Film sales industry where she worked
closely with international producers and filmmakers abroad to many large scale and intimate
events within the Toronto International Film Festival. She then spent ten years in Niagara and
worked in the Vineyard industry in Corporate Sales and Events. Her husband ‘s long career as a
much respected Art Appraiser for Canada’s largest Art Museums and some of Toronto’s highly
regarded private collections has allowed her the privilege to gain knowledge in the International
Art market, her previous exceptional client-facing experiences and maintaining coveted
relationships with clients is what she focuses on most.
“I'm naturally fascinated with people and their stories. Often in sales we hear about a trajectory
that has led a client to new beginnings and l take a genuine interest and excitement in that. I
love to marry real estate and passions whether it be in art or any other collections. The identity
of the client is very much a huge part of the process and l understand the intimacy within that
goal.”
