Don Kottick

Don Kottick is the President & CEO of Sotheby’s International Realty Canada. Don is a senior real estate executive with a proven track record of operational and brokerage management success. He is honoured to be with an iconic brand with a legacy of excellence, unwavering bespoke client service, and unparalleled global exposure.

Prior to Sotheby’s International Realty Canada, Don was the Executive Vice President, Corporate Development for Peerage Realty Partners (Peerage). Peerage is one of North America’s leading luxury real estate networks.

During his tenure at Peerage, the organization increased its national and international partnership holdings, which now include Baker Real Estate, Fifth Ave Sales & Marketing, StreetCity Realty, Chestnut Park Real Estate, and Madison & Company Properties, LLC. Prior to joining Peerage, Don served as the President of Right at Home Realty, an Ontario based brokerage; as the President/CEO of Imagemaker360, a technology company in Ann Arbor, Michigan; as Vice President for AlignMark Consulting, an Orlando, Florida based Human Resource firm; and as North American General Manager, Real Estate for Trader Classified Inc., a Paris-based technology & classified media firm.

Don also served as the Vice President & Division Manager for Royal LePage's luxury flagship, Johnston & Daniel Division (J&D), the Luxury Portfolio affiliate for Ontario and as Director of Products & Services for Royal LePage Canada.

Don is a Fellow of the Real Estate Institute of Canada (FRI) and Certified International Property Specialists (CIPS). He continues to be a Director for the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) and is currently the Past-President/National Director of the Real Estate Institute of Canada (REIC). Prior to this, Don served four years as Director at Large on the Toronto Real Estate Board (TREB).

Additionally, he has served on numerous governance committees over the years. Don is a regular contributor to Inman News and Real Estate Magazine (REM) on leadership, culture and industry issues.
