Specializing in Calgary’s affluent west side real estate communities, Barb has a strong track record of success and results in Calgary’s real estate market. Together with her partner Lisa Tomalin-Reeves, Barb and Lisa have sold over $75 million in real estate over the past 12 months with an average sale price of $1.0 million. Barb and Lisa are frequently “sought out” for their market knowledge of Calgary’s west side communities – the home to Calgary’s top private schools, beautiful and safe neighborhoods, master planned communities including Aspen Estates and Elbow Valley and only 15 minutes to downtown.
Barb has a Commerce degree from the University of Calgary, and has lived and worked her entire career in our vibrant city. After 20 years in the technology and venture capital sectors, Barb moved into real estate, leveraging her strong investment experience and marketing skills with her passion for real estate. Barb joined Sotheby’s in May 2013 after a successful career at Royal LePage, and quickly became one of the top performers in the Sotheby’s Calgary office.
Barb enjoys a “hands on” approach with her clients – and enjoys working with buyers equally as well as sellers. With buyers, Barb spends a lot of time “listening” and asking questions, then leveraging her expertise and knowledge of the local communities/schools/amenities to help guide clients towards finding a fabulous home in the “perfect” community or condominium complex.

Barb has additional certification from the Calgary Real Estate Board for condominium sales, enabling her to provide critical expertise to condominium and villa clients, valuable as she frequently works with baby boomers downsizing from a large family home or acreage property to a condominium or villa.
Barb and Lisa also both possess strong knowledge of rural properties, both having lived in Springbank, and the unique attributes for selling or buying an acreage estate.
