Lowry, director of the Museum of Modern Art in New York and regarded as one of Canada&rsquo;s most significant, privately owned homes created around the performing arts. Commissioned by the late Dr. James Stewart, an award-winning mathematician, professional violinist and renowned philanthropist, the private residence has been celebrated worldwide for its architectural and cultural significance.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/sothebysrealty.ca\/en\/property\/ontario\/greater-toronto-area-real-estate\/toronto\/73147\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-12442\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sothebysrealty.ca\/insightblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/23859824print-1200x800.jpg\" alt=\"23859824print\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Proceeds from the sale of Integral House, listed at $19.5 million by <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/sothebysrealty.ca\/en\/paul-maranger\/\">Paul Maranger<\/a><\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/sothebysrealty.ca\/en\/christian-vermast\/\">Christian Vermast<\/a><\/strong>, and <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/sothebysrealty.ca\/en\/fran-bennett\/\">Fran Bennett<\/a><\/strong> of <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sothebysrealty.ca\/\">Sotheby&rsquo;s International Realty Canada<\/a><\/strong>, will be donated to eighteen charitable organizations Stewart supported during his lifetime.
