Description de la propriété

“Little Wolf” stands as the world’s first yellow and red cedar wood castle, a pinnacle
achievement and design artwork in natural wood architecture, recognized as one of the
most remarkable natural estates ever created.

“Little Wolf” is set within British Columbia’s legendary “Great Bear Rainforest,” one of
the last remaining intact freshwater biotopes on earth, centrally located within the
“Sacred Headwaters” of the Skeena, Nass and Stikine rivers, famous for the best salmon
and steelhead fishing in the world.

“Little Wolf” is framed by the snow-capped “Pacific Coast Mountains” , famous for the
best heli-skiing in the world.

“Little Wolf” is located close to the “Pacific Ocean”. The estate places you within
immediate reach of refined sailing and yachting through thousands of islands and
estuaries rich with extraordinary marine biodiversity, as well as world-class ocean
fishing opportunities in Kitimat and Prince Rupert, offering premier catches including
saltwater salmon, halibut, Dungeness crab, king crab, shrimp, red snapper, rockfish,
sole, and lingcod.

“Little Wolf” is located on a secluded peninsula, characterized by natural old-growth
forest and extends along several miles of enchanted, private riverfront on the
world-famous Skeena River, birthplace of legendary world-record steelhead and trophy
salmon, one of the most prolific sport-fishing destinations globally, complemented by
iconic tributaries such as the Copper, Kispiox, Bulkley, Morice, and Babine.

The value of “Little Wolf” arises from the exceptional character of its architecture and
the unparalleled qualities of the land itself — a combination rarely found and almost
never available, curated, stewarded, preserved as heritage and scarce legacy capital.
The extraordinarily high air quality in the untouched Pacific Coastal Rainforest is oxygen-
rich, crisp and unspoiled, and the glacially fed waters are among the cleanest found
anywhere on earth. Glacial creeks trace along the property like liquid crystal, while the
mighty Skeena River curves gracefully around the peninsula.

“Little Wolf” provides an unlimited supply of naturally filtered, unspoiled glacial drinking water, a luxury of
immeasurable value, found only in the world’s most untouched wilderness regions.
The design of the cedar wood castle is architecturally preserving the characteristics and
natural beauty of the coastal rainforest for generations to come! The marvelous
entrance is as a compilation of extraordinary beauty. The mighty, naturally grown and
over 1000-year-old giant Red Cedar burl is one of the principal design elements of “Little
Wolf”. Ornamental Yellow Cedar burls in the dormer gables, as well as a giant Red Cedar
log above the balcony with multiple smaller burls, blend into the extraordinary
compilation. Every single tree is a rare jewel of the forest and has been carefully
harvested, selected and compiled as a design-artwork. Designed by the owners, hand-
crafted and assembled by the famous “Timber Kings” of British Columbia, Canada. As
seen on TV , in more than 150 countries all over the world,
“Little Wolf” has been “the most challenging built”, the “Timber Kings” have ever done worldwide!
“Little Wolf” is globally showcased across leading international media, including National Geographic,
Discovery Channel, History Channel, Bloomberg, and The Wall Street Journal, and has
achieved a level of recognition that surpasses traditional real estate, establishing itself
as a legacy-grade asset and a world-class destination.

At its heart rises a nearly 9,000-square-foot timber castle with panoramic views — an
architectural masterpiece featuring 8 bedrooms and 10 baths, adorned with hand-crafted detailing, commercial stainless steel kitchen, hospital-grade commercial laundry facility, Brazilian Blue Azul granite, Statuary marble, exceptional antique furniture collections, hand-built birch, cedar, and cherry wood furniture, contemporary high-end furnishings, Western art collections, and an open, masoned medieval Burgundy stone-castle fireplace dating to the 11th century. “Little Wolf” reflects a level of artistry and permanence rarely seen in modern construction.

Beyond its natural beauty, “Little Wolf” presents an exceptional and diversified
commercial opportunity: the estate holds a commercial license as a well-established
and world-famous destination hotel and resort, providing luxurious accommodations
and a renowned culinary experience, hosting cruise-ship land programs, fishing
adventures, helicopter fishing excursions, heli-skiing in some of the finest terrain in the
world, eco-tourism, family vacations, and high-end group or corporate retreats. The
property benefits from 10 acres of RC commercial zoning and 120 acres of R-1
residential zoning, creating a rare dual-use framework that supports both scalable
business operations and private estate enjoyment.

Existing infrastructure includes authorized helicopter operations with a private take-off
and landing area, a commercially licensed water system and electrical system, private
powerline, utilities, and potential for bottled water production, licensed forestry, lumber
harvesting, tree farming, agricultural opportunities, and animal breeding — offering a
compelling combination of flexibility, revenue potential, and long-term land value.
Year-round, the property transforms into an adventure base of unmatched caliber,
offering the finest wilderness recreation. The established zoning profile enables a wide
spectrum of future uses — from boutique luxury resort hotel or private retreat to
corporate compound, commercial establishment, luxury travel, or eco-tourism venture.
Despite its seclusion, accessibility remains seamless: 1 hour and 20 minutes by
airplane from Vancouver International Airport to Kitimat/Terrace, followed by a
20-minute scenic drive on the iconic “Yellowhead Highway,” one of the “Dream Routes of
the World,” and private access, offering a rare balance of remoteness and convenience.
“Little Wolf” — a globally recognized legacy estate, an unparalleled convergence of
luxury, natural purity, architectural significance, secluded privacy, and commercial
potential — a world-class property.

Architectural Design:
“Little Wolf” is built from giant Western Red Cedar logs which show character and beauty. Every tree is a rare jewel of the forest and has been carefully harvested and selected. The design of Little Wolf Resort combines luxurious elegance and pure natural beauty. The marvelous entrance features three giant twisted Red Cedar trees. The trees were twisting, so that they were more stable against the wind. The fourth big tree of the entrance grew perfectly straight. It is called “The Big Carrot”. The big straight tree is considered to be the most valued kind of tree in the wood industry. Combining the three twisted trees with the big straight tree gave us the idea to call the combination “The Twisted Carrot Entrance”. Furthermore, the entrance features a twisted arch blending into the twisted look of the main supporting logs, holding a very special and unique, one-of-a-kind, mighty giant Red Cedar burl that is over 1000 years old. The mighty, naturally grown and over 1000-year-old giant Red Cedar burl is one of the principal design elements of “Little Wolf”. Burls are very rare to find. Specifically giant Red Cedar burls can grow to immense sizes. Burls can grow new trees, filled with small knots from dormant buds. The figured, dense and resistant wood-grain of these burls is highly prized for its beauty and rarity! Ornamental Yellow Cedar burls in the dormer gables, as well as a giant Red Cedar log above the balcony with multiple smaller burls are blending into the compilation. Two giant and very characteristic multi-coloured Red Cedar pillars in the entrance hall of “Little Wolf” are connecting the entrance hall with the big living room and are also supporting the upper living section. There one was combining dark Cedar trees in the upper loft with the two big giant bright Cedar pillars in the entrance hall as a huge bottom end, making it look as one big tree with multiple colourful variations of the wood being used in this compilation. The living room features a unique hanging truss with a hanging flared tree. Giant flared ends in the wall system of the living room are framing in the impressive medieval Burgund
