Natalie Deschene-Stoddart was born in Sault Ste. Marie to a family of French/Scottish heritage while also being a proud member of the Métis Nation of Ontario. Natalie was a face on SSM's television station MCTV as the host of Kids Talk Central Command. She moved to Toronto to attend OCAD graduating first with an Honours Degree in Illustration, and then in 2007 with a Bachelor of Design with Distinction where she specialized in Medical Illustrations.
For more than two decades, Natalie has been in management, administration and been an owner/entrepreneur in the demanding hospitality industry. She uses these varied experiences and intuitions gained, to elevate customer service in real estate when her clients are buying or selling a home. Natalie has also passionately worked volunteering in her community, to raise monies for charities through events, and with her daughter's schools. She has served on their school council as a secretary, and at her local church where she had the opportunity to help acclimate refugee families getting a new start in Canada. Having bought and sold many properties while living in the GTA, she has a passion for and understanding of the real estate market and its advantages. Natalie, as a "people-person," truly enjoys working with people and their families, while meeting their diverse needs and clearly negotiating them.
Natalie was married at sea in the waters of Bermuda and lives with her husband, her Yorkshire Terrier dog “Wolfia,” and her two daughters -- one attending Holy Name of Mary, and the other in her Master's at University of Toronto. Natalie is well travelled through Asia, having lived before as an English teacher in Japan, and speaks conversational Japanese. She also loves travelling through North & South America and exploring the crystal blue waters of the Caribbean.
Natalie’s interests span from painting, illustration, digital artwork and playing piano. She cooks with inspiration like a chef, loves skiing, diving, golf, astronomy and sky-watching. Her family life is very important; she has shared the experiences of many RV camping adventures across North America with them. A career in Real Estate has always been Natalie’s long-term goal and having worked as a client of the Bourelle’s before knows how effective, knowledgeable and personable they are. It is with great pride that Natalie has joined Sotheby's International Realty Canada, brokerage and is working with the Bourelle team.
