It really is true that what you don’t know can hurt you. What I did not know about the day-to-day movement of the residential real estate market and a sound strategy for selling my house could fill a book. What I might have done on my own, in ignorance, could have done me in. Thankfully, I found an agent who had the knowledge, experience and empathy to skillfully guide me through a stressful and very complex process. Yvonne Huh has what is takes to make the process less daunting. What I discovered is that I was too close to the matter to really assess the current market value of my home. Yvonne and her colleagues pooled their insight to give me a clear and realistic range of estimates. She was also helpful and patient with me until I understood why my taste in décor and the accumulation and display of stuff over twenty-five years was not necessarily that of the buyers and that the house had to appeal to as many of them as possible.
