My story is not unique, but it is a word of warning to all of you that think you can sell your home without a great team. I had the idea to sell my home privately. I had a very interested tenant and I thought that would be the easy route. His offer seemed fair. I thought it would save me money and hassle of having to live in a staged home. Not the mention the work of packing up all the clutter, paying agent fees etc. In the end I was talked out of going that route, and it ended up being the best thing I could have done!
