Property Description
This beautiful end-row townhouse sits in the heart of the charming town of Holladay near the mouth of Big Cottonwood Canyon. Used sparingly as a second home, this townhome's main level is adorned with hardwood floors, plantation shutters, granite countertops, Bosch appliance package including under counter microwave, double oven with convection, french door refrigerator, and contrasting color kitchen island. The dining area can fit a 12' table for your whole guest list, and the living room (with adjoining powder room) is a peaceful place to enjoy the gas fireplace or open the shutters and look out upon more green lawn and well-tended florals or up to the towering Mt. Olympus. An ample primary suite offers a walk-in closet, bathroom suite with jetted tub, double vanities, and separate shower, as well as a west-facing balcony. The upper level offers two bedrooms with east-facing mountain views, vaulted ceilings, a shared full bath, and an extra office/family room. The walkout basement was fully finished in 2022, adding a huge bedroom with a custom window well art mural of the mountains above, walk-in storage, and a nice bathroom with a subway-tiled shower enclosure. Plenty of storage for any use, and a 2-car garage with room for shelving and bike/ski storage. Enjoy the privacy of the large manicured HOA open space yard as if it were your own, with grass, mature trees, and beautiful shrubbery on the sunny southern side of your townhouse. In addition, this is the perfect location to reach anywhere in the Salt Lake Valley, the best being right out the front door: only half a mile from local legend Caputo's Market & Deli, Harmon's Market, and a myriad of other boutique shopping and dining. Less than 30 min. to skiing Snowbird, Solitude, Brighton, and Alta Resorts; less than 40 min. to Deer Valley or Park City Resorts; and an hour to Snowbasin. If year-round adventure isn't quite within your sights, an easy 20 min. drive from the airport makes this a terrific second home.

In the summer of 1847, a group of pioneers led by John Holladay entered the Salt Lake Valley. They discovered a spring-fed stream, now known as Spring Creek, and settled the area, making Holladay the first village established away from Salt Lake City and the oldest continuously inhabited city in Utah. Settlers enjoyed favorable conditions for agriculture, orchards, and business, allowing for continued growth and development. Located in the central part of the Salt Lake Valley, Holladay is known today for its beautiful homes and large, wooded lots. The Holladay City Council works towards preserving its open spaces by overseeing and carefully managing commercial development. Residents are proposing a more pedestrian-friendly downtown as well as creating biking and walking trails within the community. Holladay is also host to many popular events and festivals organized by the city's Arts Council. Most notably, the Blue Moon Festival held every summer features artists and musicians from the community. Other Holladay attractions include the Mt. Olympus trailhead, Old Mill Golf Course, Big Cottonwood Regional Park, and the Lions Recreation Center. Forbes magazine has ranked Utah the No. 1 state for business four out of the last five years. Salt Lake County is also the home of the NBA’s Utah Jazz, Real Salt Lake of the MLS, University of Utah Pac-12 athletics, and was the host of the 2002 Winter Olympic Games.
