Originally the Kraumanis family retreat, the architecture was based on a Latvian castle reminiscent of the owner’s ancestral homeland. Original, reclaimed pieces from local historical buildings were elegantly harmonized together when building this heirloom residence. Keeping much of the original character and antiquity intact, including the original, fieldstone fireplaces (hand-built from stone mined from the property), the circular staircase, the Captain's Walk and the Zen room.
