Private island with 5,100 sqm of land and 45 hectares of surrounding water. Tallskär is a historic fishing homestead that was permanently inhabited from the 1720s until around 1930. The island has a unique character, with its open landscape, meadows, and sea-polished rock formations. There are three residential houses, all with sea views from every room, a sheltered harbor, and a sandy beach tucked into the innermost part of the bay, as well as a sauna, a woodshed with workshop, and a boathouse. Everything has undergone a thorough and tasteful renovation in recent years. All modern amenities are in place, including electricity and water, with close proximity to the mainland.


Mooring and parking are available on Älgö, just a short boat ride of approximately 2 minutes away. The property includes two boat berths and two parking spaces. There is also a mailbox on Älgö belonging to Tallskär.


BUILDINGS
The main house, built in 1891, is approximately 112 sqm and features a modern custom-built kitchen in a traditional style with a wood-burning stove. Bathroom with WC and shower. Living room with an open fireplace. Glazed veranda. The upper floor offers two bedrooms.


The harbor cottage, approximately 45 sqm, includes a kitchen with a wood-burning stove, bathroom with WC, living room with a tiled stove, and two smaller bedrooms. Beneath the house is a basement with ground-level windows, used for storage of garden tools, etc.


The newer house, approximately 32 sqm, was built in 1999 on an older foundation and offers an open-plan layout with kitchen and social area with an open fireplace. Bathroom with WC and shower. Beneath the house is a basement with a desalination system, washing machine, and space for a wine cellar.


The sauna house includes a sauna for up to eight people as well as a sleeping area with a built-in bunk bed.


The woodshed, approximately 25 sqm from the late 1800s, includes a workshop and space for gatherings.


Boathouse of approximately 10 sqm with space for boating equipment, paddleboards, water skis, etc., as well as a separate section for fishing gear.


There is also an older detached fish smokehouse on the property.


Harbor facility with stone-filled crib and a breakwater made of rock and stone, providing sheltered mooring for several boats.


AREA
Close to Saltsjöbaden Grand Hotel and KSSS, approximately a 10-minute boat ride from the island. Several restaurants in the area are accessible by boat, as well as Artipelag. On the neighboring island of Gåsö, there are many activities to enjoy, such as Midsummer celebrations, sailing school for children, the Mose to Goose Olympics, and more. There are also scenic walking trails around the island.
