Costa Blanca has more than 200 kilometres along its coast. Costa Blanca is divided into southern (from Alicante to Pilar de la Horadada) and northern (from Alicante to Denia) parts. Within 8 km there are mountain ranges that block the colder air masses. This is one of the factors which ensure a comfortable climate in the area during all the year. The average annual temperature is +20°C and the weather is warm and sunny for 300 days a year.
The vegetation consists of palm trees, orange trees and lemon trees. The south Costa Blanca is also more typical “Spanish”. The coastline of the South Costa Blanca is flat with some Salt lakes, orange and limon trees and white long sand beaches.
Spain´s Costa Blanca was recently revealed as the most popular area for international buyers. But one area has attracted more new residents than any other. Property sales have bounced back since the pandemic, but according to Olive Press one area has sold more houses than in 2019. The most popular area in Costa Blanca was on the south of Costa Blanca near Golf resorts (Torrevieja and Orihuela coastal areas). Tourists come to the south coast of Costa Blanca for the famous and developed resorts, the main ones are Alicante city, Guardamar del Segura, Torrevieja, Punta Prima, Algorfa, Pilar de la Horadada, Ciudad Quesada, Orihuela Costa & Los Montesinos. The south of the region is perfect for a relaxing holiday with golf lovers, families and children of all ages. It is one of the most attractive places for beach relaxation and long-term accommodation in Spain because it has all services you can imagine reachable in just few minutes.
The southern part of Costa Blanca has more affordable properties than the northern part. This is due to the fact, that there are rail connections through many of the golf resort and towns and in some of them, the area is protected by the local authorities. Over the last 5-10 years, many new and modern housing developments have been constructed on the south coast.
