SOLLN is one of Munich’s most beautiful and exclusive residential neighborhoods. Located about 8 km south of the center of the Bavarian metropolis, Solln stretches along the idyllic high banks of the Isar River. The elegant villas built during the Gründerzeit era still lend this neighborhood its refined atmosphere today.

The historic town center (also known as Alt-Solln), featuring the Sollner Weiher—which is now a protected historic site—remains very well preserved. The center is Fellererplatz, right in the neighborhood of the property we’re offering. This is where the residents of Solln like to gather in the small cafés. Hofbrunnstraße and Diefenbachstraße still bear witness to old buildings and farmsteads from the 18th and 19th centuries.

The infrastructure is excellent. Several supermarkets—not to mention the cozy little specialty shops, the Friday farmers’ market, as well as schools, kindergartens, doctors, and more—are all easily accessible within a few minutes’ walk.

The range of recreational activities seems endless. The wooded banks of the Isar are right nearby, inviting you to go jogging, hiking, or take bike rides with friends. By bike, you can also reach one of Munich’s most beautiful beer gardens, the “Waldwirtschaft,” in no time at all.

The “Maria Einsiedel” outdoor swimming pool is particularly lovely, with a golf course located nearby (Munich golf courses). You can play tennis at the well-known Großhesseloher Tennis Club.

The wide variety of dining options—ranging from traditional Bavarian eateries to Indian restaurants, the Thai restaurant “Chang,” and Feinkost Käfer—leaves nothing to be desired.

You can reach Munich’s attractive city center in about 20 minutes by car or by S-Bahn.

For trips to the mountains or to the neighboring recreational areas, the main highway on-ramps are just a few minutes away.
