The town of Desná in the Jizera Mountains, in which the resort is located, is approximately 1.5 hours by car from the capital city of Prague. In Desná and the surrounding area, we can find all civic amenities, including a grocery store, restaurants, a library, a kindergarten and elementary school, and a sports complex. In the summer, cycling and hiking dominate sports activities in Jizerka, for example to Protržená dam, Mariánská hora, Černé Desná Waterfalls or Tanvaldský Špičák.
