Area Description

The District of Metchosin is located on the southern tip of Vancouver Island, a short 20-minute drive from downtown Victoria. The residents of Metchosin take pride in the magnificent mountain views and massive old growth trees.

Metchosin is a semi-rural community of rolling countryside laced with winding rural roads traversing cultivated acreages, rocky highlands, and forests along the shores of the Juan de Fuca Strait.
