Norb Park

Norb Park is an Associate Broker with Sotheby's International Realty Canada in Alberta and the founder of SIX Real Estate Consulting Inc., a firm specializing in planning and marketing major real estate projects, including many of Calgary and Edmonton's successful multi-family developments.
His real estate career began in 1978 when he moved to Calgary to manage a home building company. Over the next 15 years, he held leadership roles with major single-family homebuilders, including general manager and sales and marketing manager, and later became a partner in a home building firm.
In the 1990s, with the resurgence of multi-family development, Norb launched SIX Real Estate Consulting Inc., offering services such as market research, project strategy, creative direction, and sales management. The company expanded its reach across six provinces and into Montana. Norb continues to consult under the SIX banner and credits the success of the firm to the talented team that supported it.
Norb holds a Real Estate Broker’s license and was the founding Broker for Sotheby’s International Realty Canada when it entered the Alberta market. In 2010, Sotheby’s acquired his brokerage, and he became the Broker for Alberta, helping launch the first office and assemble the initial team of Associates. Eventually, he stepped away from the Broker role to return to client-facing work, focusing on residential, rural, and commercial transactions—his “retirement job,” as he calls it.
His rural portfolio now includes farms, ranches, and recreational properties. He has also served on the boards of the Calgary Regional Home Builders Association, the Calgary Home Builders Foundation, and the Marketing Advisory Committee for the Alberta New Home Warranty Program. Additionally, he taught real estate marketing at the University of Calgary’s Department of Continuing Education.
Before entering real estate, Norb earned a business degree and began his career in sales with General Foods, quickly rising through roles in Edmonton, Winnipeg, and Toronto. He later became Western Divisional Manager for Ortho Pharmaceutical, overseeing sales across BC, Alberta, and Saskatchewan. A university classmate eventually persuaded him to return to Calgary and enter the home building industry—marking the beginning of his long and varied career in real estate.
Norb describes professional sales as his lifelong craft, one he continues to refine every day.
