I believe strongly that owning a home is the key to financial security, because real estate is one of the safest long-term investments a person can make. I also believe that buying or selling a home is one of the most important transactions most people will make in their lives. With these beliefs anchoring my sales philosophy, I am dedicated to guiding clients to make the best decision to increase their financial net worth while enjoying life the way they want to live it.
Before pursuing my passion to help people through real estate, my diverse work history included promoting real estate training seminars, promoting personal development seminars by thought leaders like Robert Kiyosaki (Rich Dad, Poor Dad), and providing one-on-one life coaching services. After owning and managing rental properties, I chose to dedicate myself to learning and working within the real estate industry, starting as a realtor assistant. In 2008, I applied my practical training and became a fully licensed agent, with the goal of providing each of my clients with the best possible care and service.
Born and raised in Winnipeg, I spent several years in Toronto and now call downtown Guelph my home. I invest my time and energy into building a strong community of friends, families, and businesses through volunteer initiatives such as church committees and community projects. I also served for many years on the Board of Directors for the Trillium Waldorf School. Not by coincidence, the Guelph community also aligns with my deep valuing of environment and sustainability and I donate volunteer time to the Green Parties of Ontario and Canada.
My family includes a teenage son, a dog and a cat, and a husband, who is also my Communications Manager and Assistant. I am a voracious book reader, enjoy interior decorating, and love to travel. I also remain committed to continual personal growth through classroom, text, video, and audio learning.
