Géraldine Libraty

Geraldine is one of a kind.
Born in Lyon (France), Geraldine arrived in Montreal in 1988.
Right away, she got involved in the business world in order to discover the professional context
of her new home country. This was also an opportunity for her to gain experience amongst
Canadians, since she was unfamiliar with North American culture and the ways in which it
differed from French culture.
After having gained two years of professional experience, she began working in luxury European
used car sales. She then proceeded to start her own company, which allowed her to run her
business and develop a loyal clientele over the course of almost 20 years. She managed to seize
every opportunity to reach successful outcomes.
Geraldine holds a degree in Economics, and studied Fashion Design and Haute-couture. Afterwards, she
followed her passion and completed a prestigious program at the Lyon School of Fine-Arts, in
France.
Driven by ambition and a desire to face new challenges, she distanced herself from her company,
and seized this opportunity to start a new career in real estate. She is convinced that having a
place to call home is the most important thing anyone can offer themselves in their lifetime. She
holds the highest standards for her future clientele, orienting them towards luxury properties.
Motivated by a strong desire to learn about real estate, Geraldine proceeded to obtain a degree in
residential real estate. She joined Sotheby’s International Realty Canada’s team in 2010, bringing
in her global perspective on real estate, cultural diversity and a deeply rooted sense of how to
offer the best service to her clientele. Geraldine’s passion for real estate is truly an extension of
her generosity. What makes her stand out is her ability to represent top-quality sellers and buyers
in the real estate sector. Within every professional relationship, Geraldine values integrity and
work ethic. This allows her to develop an outstanding network of references, and to offer an
exceptional service to property buyers and sellers, both local and international. With Sotheby’s
global network, Geraldine manages to offer personalized real-estate advice almost anywhere in
the world, and her practice is informed by her passion for traveling, fashion, languages, sports
and the arts. Geraldine’s travels across the globe, mostly in Europe, North Africa, America and
South America, have helped her to provide her clients with a global and cosmopolitan
perspective.

For Geraldine, a home represents the family’s core, as well as a desirable lifestyle. Her priority

Geraldine also insists on the importance of donating to various charities, and of volunteering for
