Anne Norder

The youngest of 9 children, Anne was born in Europe, grew up and was educated in Niagara, and has lived on both the east coast(Nova Scotia) and the west coast (BC) of Canada. In Ontario, Anne grew up in Niagara on the Lake, lived many years in St. Catharines, enjoyed living in Jordan, near Balls Falls Conservation area, and now resides in Ridgeville - North Pelham area. She has a background in real estate, banking, and, has owned and managed two award-winning travel agencies.

Aside from real estate, she is extremely passionate about giving back to her community and is committed to being of service to others! Anne has served as Rotary President, is a Paul Harris Fellow, past president of the Chamber of Commerce, volunteered 13 years with the RCMP Victims Services unit, was on the Board of Sunshine - Dream for Kids Charity, served on the Citizen's Advisory Board (Federal Penitentiary), and was voted "Woman of the Year".

Currently she is a member of the Maycourt Club of St. Catharines, volunteers every year with the Community Care Toy Bureau and the Maycourt Club Annual Christmas Trees Fund Raiser. Anne is also a Volunteer with the Niagara Association of Realtors, as a member of the Discipline Committee.

For her charity of choice, Anne has sewn hundreds of pairs of funky mittens since 2015, and has given 100% of the sale proceeds to Hospice Niagara. To date she has donated $12.190.00 .....that’s a lot of “Warm hands for Hospice!” Also, this year, amid the Covid19 pandemic Anne has been sewing multi coloured Scrub (surgical) caps for nurses and front-line heroes to help brighten their days.

It is a natural fit for Anne to be a part of the Sotheby’s International Realty, Canada team, in the Niagara on the Lake office. With a long history in real estate including new home building, Anne has a solid background in both sales and marketing, as well as having a Diploma in Interior Re-design and Staging, An individual committed to fostering the spirit of partnership at all levels, she is a leader with a demonstrated record of success, has good interpersonal and leadership skills which have resulted in team building, trust and open communication. Anne is constantly improving her knowledge and skills, is a skilled negotiator and facilitator, effective communicator and willing to leave her comfort zone.

Having travelled to many places around the world, Anne still looks forward to travelling and discovering new places and experiencing something new, then leaving with different views or knowledge,along with fond and wonderful memories.
